"Nicole has ridden under my supervision in past clinics and lessons on a couple difference horses. During the time that she rode with me, I developed a very high regard for Nicole based on the outstanding efforts that she made to improve her horsemanship. In fact, I would say that Nicole has been the most productive and focused students I have worked with during my 10+ years teaching horsemanship. Ms. Valeri has exhibited a rare combination of focus and patience that has enabled her to overcome obstacles and maintain a very high level of horsemanship while competing with her own horse. Nicole was able to build on the direction and advice she was given and made large improvements between lessons and clinics. Rarely did I need to explain a concept or exercise to Nicole more than once – she’s developing a great feel at an early age. Nicole's upbeat demeanor and ‘can do’ attitude make her a very great student to work with, and will help to make her a wonderful trainer. Her strong human relations skills will surely enable her to interface as effectively with her clients as they have with her teachers and mentors. As you can tell by now, I am quite impressed with this outstanding young woman and give her a high recommendation for working with clientele horses. Please feel free to contact me if you need additional information or perspective."

"Nicole Valeri is professional, kind, patient, and understanding. Nicole was able to pick up my gelding for training at the beginning of 2013. He was having behavior issues that included bucking and refusals. He never did buck Nicole but threw off 3 people in the time I have owned him. Including myself 3 separate times. He was a very well trained horse but he needed a serious adjustment to know people were no longer going to put up with his crap. He came back to me using a simple snaffle bit and was soft and responsive upon his return. When Nicole picked up my gelding he was underweight due to the poor care at my boarding facility and he never returned to that facility. I supplied a supplement and with him getting daily exercise I was worried putting weight on him was going to be a severe challenge. This was not the case. She took EXCELLENT CARE of him. He returned to me in much better condition and a better attitude in general. He is now in a very loving home with a child rider and he could not be happier. In the time since my gelding was at training I have stayed in touch with Nicole and plan on sending my new mare to her as well but I dread parting with her at all because Nicole is a little over an hour from home and I know getting to see her often when at school would be a challenge. I plan on having Nicole getting my mare to counter arch, learn rolls backs, and brush up her spins. Nicole has a gift while working with horses and I was truly impressed with his behavior under her control. He would test her and she would just push him right on threw his attitude without being mean or abrasive. If anyone ever asks where they can find a good horse trainer I ALWAYS refer Nicole. "

"I am writing in reference to Nicole Valeri.

I asked Nicole to help me with my then almost 2 year old mare Julianna.  Nicole willingly came to my barn at first because I was unable to get my mare to her training facility. In a very few short lessons I was able to lead her on the street and over to Nicole's facility.  This only served to increase Juli's abilities exponentially because we now had a round pen and a riding arena at our disposal. I decided to board Juli there for a month of training so she could have daily interaction with Nicole.  This has made a great difference in Juli's attitude and abilities.  Juli enjoyed being there she had fun and learned alot.   Nicole also welcomed and encouraged me to be there during the daily lesson as I needed training too! I am very glad I found Nicole.  I continue to take advantage of her exceptional abilities as a trainer on an ongoing basis.  She relates to the horses as individuals with specific needs.  Her method of teaching resonates well with my desire to train my horse without pain or forcing her. Thank you for considering her for this position."
